Dedicated to the memory of John Barratt

This page is a tribute to John Barratt. He was both an adored and adoring grandfather, father, partner, brother, uncle and friend. He was always kind and generous and lived his life to try and create a fairer society for all. We hope that the world will change in the way that he would have wanted it to. He was always thoughtful of others and 'didn't want any fuss' after he died.  Please feel free to share your memories, photos and stories about John with us below, we'd love to hear from you.

You are welcome to join us at West Herts Crematorium from 12.00 and then The Royal Oak from 1.30pm on Watford Heath to celebrate John's life with us on Wednesday 31 January

We will just be having family flowers, but if you do wish to donate, will will be collecting for some causes that were close to his heart. We are so grateful to the MacMillan nurses, who looked after him with such kindness, The Watford & Three Rivers Refugee Partnership and, his great passion, The Labour Party whom he stood for, canvassed for and was keen to see win the coming election this year, which was sadly not to be.
We look forward to seeing you and sharing memories, we loved him so much.
